The word “SAT’ in itself tells us that it’s a whole different ball game in terms of exam preparation. Taking into consideration the time, effort and work that needs to be put to crack it.
Every exam and test that we come across work on their own accord. So does SAT, it has its own structuring and modelling. SAT is by definition a standardised test. This standardisation is a boon when used to our advantage.
Standardisation makes SAT operate repetitively. This repetition when played rightfully becomes putty in our hands. Following are the ABC’s that needs to be considered while taking up SAT.
I. SAT IS A ‘NO SURPRISE’ PACKAGE :
SAT works in the same format irrespective of its varied versions. In terms of driving the point home, SAT does not spring an out of the blue question nor does it takes us by surprise. Consistency is one of SAT’s mantra’s. Keeping this in mind is your 1st step towards acing SAT.
II. ONE ANSWER IS THE RIGHT ANSWER:
SAT goes hand in hand by stating, ‘A single problem always has a single solution’. Problems (Questions) in SAT must have a definitive answer. More dramatically put and rightly phrased, ‘A single question yields a single answer’. Answers are never debatable or questionable according to a SAT mechanism. On being stuck with two answer choices try re-phrasing the question and approach it the other way around.
III. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT:
Substantiating the earlier points of ‘NO SURPRISES AND REPETITION’ is the point ‘DO PRACTICE’. Practice makes YOU perfect. Practice helps you in answering questions quicker and increase accuracy, making YOU the master of SAT.
‘A positive outlook towards SAT is by taking the negative and putting a positive spun to it.’
HAPPY SAT! HAPPY RESULT!!
